Our dream is for Escuela to be more than a restaurant. We want to become a part of the community here in Austin by offering classes and community events that invite people into the rich history and exciting future of our property.

Oak Hill has always been about community and agriculture. Long before it became a vibrant part of Austin, this area was home to generations of farmers who worked the land to support their families. The local economy thrived on cattle ranching, fruit orchards, and vegetable farms, forming the foundation for the town’s identity. Today, we honor their legacy by serving food inspired by the same dedication to local, sustainable farming that shaped this community for over a century. 

Escuela is a new farm-to-table Tex-Mex restaurant coming to the Oak Hill neighborhood of Austin, Texas. We use organic practices and regenerative agriculture to sustainably farm our land.
